In His Garden, by Denise M. Kandola

At this time of year, I thought I would post the lyrics to a song I wrote. The music, written by a friend, as well as a full musical collaboration is still in the works at this time, but I wanted to post my lyrics...to share, to copyright. The picture, incidentally, was taken by me two years ago. It is The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Cleveland, OH.

In His Garden
Oh my Savior, feel my sorrow
In that hour not one could keep.
In this garden of all suffering
Asking me whom do I seek?
I resisted many times, Lord
Your will and Your plan for me.
I did not possess the courage
To accept the agony.
Finding a peace here in Your arms.
Searching for peace here in Your arms.
Alone I long for You.
Alone I pray to You.
Alone I search for You.
Oh my Lord, my God, my Father
With You in this sacred place.
My soul finds complete surrender
Open to Your loving Grace.
Let me always feel Your presence,
Your never ending walk with me.
May I hear Your softest whisper
Every time You speak to me.
Finding a peace here in Your arms.
Searching for peace here in your arms.
Alone I long for You.
Alone I pray to You.
Alone I search for You.
In the garden find me Lord.
Your love is seeking me
Alone.
